It gives them a window to other cultures. Through literature review and case study, the result findings revealed are crucial to elementary school students’ understanding of diversity in the classroom and help build an understanding of respect for other cultures outside of the classroom. It serves as a powerful tool in helping students gain insight on their own cultures and of others by finding the methods and strategies that will work within the classroom that will fit the needs of all students. It is important for students to feel comfortable and get them to understand and learn about the specific reading and learning of different diversities.
