Abstract
This paper provides a full breakdown of the voice. Registers such as chest voice, head voice, and mixed voice are discussed, along with qualities and techniques such as vibrato, breath support, and resonance. This paper also tackles the myth of tone deafness and supports the claim that anyone can learn to sing. Furthermore, this paper states how early musical exposure and social support can be beneficial in becoming more musically inclined. With real-world examples, this paper also discusses how consistent practice can strengthen one's voice and support personal confidence and identity.
