Abstract
Education has always been the focus for our children, especially during their early ages. In recent years, a new source of education was presented: Transitional Kindergarten (TK). This program is designed for children whose birthdays fall in the September-December range, who are too young for kindergarten. TK involves social and emotional understandings with the basic academics. That is to socialize students and prepare them for Kindergarten schedules. Research has shown the effects and benefits on children through this program. With literature review and interviews, TK has proven to be effective on transitional kindergartners from early childhood programs.
