Abstract
Discrimination is a widespread problem that occurs daily and negatively impacts the lives of those who are targeted. A study conducted on children revealed that ethnicity based discriminatory beliefs begin presenting themselves in those who are in primary school, or between one and six years old (Short, Carrington, 1991). School systems should increase their anti-discrimination initiatives not only for educational purposes but to ensure that discriminatory beliefs may be eradicated before adulthood is reached. Therefore, I have created a three-day lesson for elementary-aged children at Olson Elementary School in Marina, California.
