Abstract
Literacy for L.I.F.E., seeks to address the problem of incredibly low literacy rates. The program focus is to increase the frequency in student reading, expose students to new topics and issues, requiring critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. The program also takes faculty curriculum and ideas, which have not been implemented due to time restraints, such as increased accelerated reader testing.
