They focus on the end of Vietnam, the efforts of Chilean people to create programs to help them with food insecurities, and there is a small paragraph focused on workers enslavement aboard.

Labor contractor, growers, and corporations took part in hiring undocumented individuals at lower wages and under inhumane working and living conditions. Such actions undermined the efforts of the United Farm Workers union, farm workers and their supporters striving for better working conditions. Growers and labor contractors participated in numerous of illegal activities. Their illegal actions resulted in the murder of Mexican undocumented farm workers and the further exploitation of hundreds.

Included are two legal battles that the United Farm Workers (UFW) faced. One was to address the violent actions of security guards hired by growers to oversee farm workers. The second legal battle was against the Teamsters union. Cesar Chavez, with the assistance of Jerry Cohen, an UFW lawyer, advocated for the UFW to be the main union to support farm workers. At the time, the Teamsters union was engaged in a number of illicit activities.
