Diversity Statement
Our Writing Waves editorial staff aims to compile and publish works that push on the confines of genre, moving beyond “classic” publication ideology/pedagogy. The Writing Waves supports the free expression of the student body through their lived experiences. The works featured in this publication address the nuanced and intersectional nature of gender, sexuality, class, race, age, national origin, culture, and the spectrum of ability. This goal is a benchmark to showcase literature and scholarship across the diverse landscape that is CSUMB’s student-body. Write the Wave.
